Hi, i'm Zaman! I started Kicks For Gents back in 2017 to fix a problem I was having. The Problem You see, after years of wearing sneakers, I found myself in an office wearing hard leather shoes, loafers, and boots. If you haven't tried it already, putting insoles into leather shoes just doesn't work. They won't fit. The real estate inside of a leather shoe is more valuable than in Manhattan or Los Angeles. Unfortunately, orthopedic shoes that allow for larger insoles can be very expensive, disposable, and look a little funny.  In the pursuit to find a pair of comfortable leather shoes, I was not willing to give up style for comfort. The more I searched, the more money I spent on what were either shoes that were comfortable but frumpy or gorgeous but hard. Traditional store-bought insoles were too big for almost all of the shoes and they just don't fit in leather shoes. The Solution In developing Kicks For Gents® I leveraged the insights and experience of an amazing team of Pedorthists, Orthotists, and Prosthetists, including Bio-Medical and Manufacturing Engineers in developing our GoTooz insoles.  The result is a collection of insoles that can be as comfortable as their much thicker store-bought counterparts, but with a range of sized to fit almost any shoe.   Our Mission You Deserve To Be Comfortable!

GoTooz custom insole sheets are designed to provide a personalized fit. Lay out the custom sheet and place your old insole on top of it. Make sure the bottom side of the custom sheet is facing up.

Step 3: Trace the Old Insole

Place your old insole face down or up on top of the custom sheet. Align it with the edges and trace around it using a pen or marker that you can see. This will serve as a template for the new insole.

Step 4: Cut Out the New Insole

Carefully cut along the traced lines to create your new insole. Ensure that you maintain accuracy while cutting. It's better to have a slightly larger insole that can be trimmed later for a perfect fit.

Step 5: Test the Fit

Place the newly cut insole into the opposite shoe upside down to test the fit. Ensure that it covers the entire footbed area and sits comfortably. If any adjustments are needed, trace around the inside of the shoe where the insole overlaps the footbed onto the sidewall. This will help you identify the areas to trim for a precise fit.

Step 6: Create the Second Insole

To create the second insole for the other foot, flip the newly cut insole upside down and trace around it on the custom sheet. Cut along the traced lines to complete the second insole.

Step 7: Trim for a Perfect Fit

Now that you have both insoles, place them back into the shoes and ensure they fit snugly. If any areas are too large or uncomfortable, trim them accordingly until you achieve the desired fit.

Step 8: Enjoy the Comfort Congratulations!
